The search for the next K-Pop Superstar begins!


Are you aspiring to be Korea’s next pop sensation? Make K-Pop Star Hunt your first step to stardom! With the success of its first season – attracting more than 50 million viewers across Asia – K-Pop Star Hunt is set to make its triumphant comeback for a second season.

Through K-Pop Star Hunt (Season 2), talents across Asia will have the incredible opportunity to make K-Pop miracles of their own. Aspirants from the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Japan will be given the opportunity to battle it out to become the next K-Pop superstar.

Each country will be selecting the most outstanding contestants from each territory for preliminary auditions. After the contestants’ heated battles, the survivors will be flown to Seoul to receive professional training and compete for the final showdown in Korea!
The finalists’ ups and downs on the road to success will be captured and shown on the reality series on tvN. What’s more is that several popular K-POP stars will be featured every week. They will be mentoring the contestants, performing in the show, and even taking the judging roles.

The winner of the contest will receive an intensive vocal training along with an album release. The winning star will also get a chance to make a debut stage appearance on 2013 MAMA, the leading international music awards show in Korea.

Last year, K-Pop Star Hunt (Season 1) winner Thai-native Sorn bagged an exclusive contract with South Korea’s top record label Cube Entertainment, home to A-list pop groups BEAST, 4Minute and female artist G.NA. Thanks to the reality series, Sorn has soared to stardom and has moved to Seoul for her debut album training.

Shopaholic Review: My Great Northern Sale Shopping Experience



Being a shopaholic is about to satisfy yourself on what you wish to buy during great shopping sale. Just like eating what you wish to eat in order to satisfy your stomach. Shopping for me is not about to buy more things but to buy the thing that satisfies your feeling. That is a real shopaholic. A total resist of insisting what you really want to have it during the shopping spree.

This SM North EDSA “The Great Northern Sale” with a theme of “The SALE made for shopaholics returns!” targets the shopaholics for buying all things that runs in their mindset. The Great Northern Sale set a big mark down of up to 70% for some items that magnetizing the mind of shopaholics.

As what we experienced yesterday, it was a successful shopping event in SM North EDSA because of thousands of shoppers that enjoyed the big sales. Me and my girlfriend together with our blogger friends found lot of stuffs that we really like to buy. But the challenge of SM admin as they gave us 500 Gift certificate is to buy things that scale on 500Php worth.


Well, maybe with that challenge of buying more things in 500 worth of GC, I’m already loss for that. But for the mindset of being a shopaholic, I won by my heart as I bought what I want. With a 500GC I got the Shirt that I really want to buy. A single item that I bought but it raises my shopping satisfaction.

My mindset on this challenge is not about getting more items but to satisfy my shopaholic mind on getting the best Item that I can get in a 500 worth of Gift Certificate. This is a real meaning of the Great Northern Sale challenge. A challenge that customers can really satisfied on the things that they can buy.


My Girlfriend bought also single item which is her new Figlia shoes worth 499Php…

SM SOUTHMALL RUNWAY PICKS 2012


SM Southmall, the premiere shopping destination in South Metro Manila recently held the 3rd edition of SM Southmall Runway Picks featuring top fashion brands found in the newly renovated mall.  Showcased on the ramp were local and global brands – SM Department Store, SM Ladies Fashion, GTW, 3 Stars & a Sun, Bench, Blue, Inc., Celine, Charles & Keith, Fox, Gingersnaps, Girbaud, Human, Jag, Just G, Kali, Kashieca, Levi’s, Mags, Mendrez, Michelis, Osh Losh, Parfois, Payless, Peppermint, Periwinkle, Petite Monde, Plains & Prints, Promod, Sabella, Shubizz, Tomato Green & Red, Yves Rocher – styled to suit the distinct and discriminating taste of South Metro shoppers. The show also featured Rock and Soil, the Earth Tone Collection, the latest in men’s line by Ulysses King and the debut of his first ever, women’s line. 
The show captured that distinct South Metro savvy of effortless chic, with looks that were laid back, casual and carefree but with the elegance, flair and fashion-forward elements that will surely turn heads. Live music was provided DJ Callum David while guests were treated to entrees from newly opened food tenants – Tous Les Jours, Hollys’ Coffee, Black Canyon Coffee, Breadstory & Krispy Kreme. 
The show was set in the mall’s Food Street area – a newly opened Al Fresco dining strip, currently with 12 new dining concepts – and is set to launch with at least 30 restaurants by 4th quarter this year.
